Hosted Visits

Visit Tulsa to see what it’s all about!

Join us for a Hosted Visit to experience Tulsa and determine if it’s the right place for you! Meet with fellow Tulsa Remote finalists, alumni, and staff members. You’ll receive a tour of your new coworking space, a city tour, and a chance to sample Tulsa’s food scene. Hosted Visits include three days of events beginning Wednesday evening and ending Friday night. Each visit will coincide with the first Friday of the month.

To sign up, click on the preferred date from the options below, and you will receive a confirmation email with more information on where to stay, your itinerary, and how to request reimbursement.

Tulsa Remote Hosted Visits are open to all finalists who are making their decision to move to Tulsa. If you will have already moved to Tulsa by the time of your visit, you can log into your Member Portal to select your orientation date.

Reimbursement

• The purpose of the travel reimbursement is to help cover the cost of a visit to Tulsa to see if Tulsa is the right place for you. If you have already moved to Tulsa by the time of your visit, you are not eligible for travel reimbursement.
• We will reimburse for the cost of your transportation (airfare or driving mileage) up to $500. Mileage reimbursement is based on the IRS rate, currently $0.65/mile.
• We also offer an additional reimbursement up to $500 for one guest per finalist.
• Tulsa Remote cannot reimburse for non-cash expenses, including airline points used to purchase airfare.
• Your flight receipt must include your name and dollar amount.
• Tulsa Remote does not reimburse for lodging, Uber, Lyft, rental cars, baggage fees, upgrades, meals, or any other expenses incurred during your time in Tulsa.
• While we do not reimburse for lodging (outside of our hotel block), Tulsa Remote does offer a few incentives to help offset lodging costs while you’re in town. We will provide information about these incentives after you sign up for a Hosted Visit.

*The $500 travel reimbursement offer for a guest is valid for one guest per Tulsa Remote finalist. You must register your guest for the Hosted Visit by purchasing a ticket for them on Eventbrite. They will need to submit their own flight receipt. After filling out the steps below, the reimbursement will be sent directly to your guest via email from Bill.com. Guests must be 18 years or older to be eligible for the reimbursement.
