We’re excited you’ve scheduled your Hosted Visit in Tulsa! We are looking forward to having you in town and want to share some details so you can plan your visit.

Hosted Visits typically occur twice a month on Thursdays*. Below, you’ll find the itinerary for your visit, along with other important information about travel reimbursement and more. Please email visits@tulsaremote.com with any questions.

VISIT YOUR NEW COWORKING SPACE

Meet us at 36 Degrees North on Thursday at 10:00 AM for pastries, coffee, and a tour of your new coworking space!

  • Each Tulsa Remote Member receives a free membership to 36°N for 36 months.
  • During your visit, you may have one day of free access to work at 36˚N Basecamp using a Tulsa Remote Day Pass. You can request the day pass below at least 48 hours before your intended visit to 36˚N.
  • You will be required to purchase a pass from 36˚N for any additional days you wish to use the space.

*The $500 travel reimbursement offer for a guest is valid for one guest per Tulsa Remote finalist. You must register your guest for the Hosted Visit by purchasing a ticket for them on Eventbrite. They will need to submit their own flight receipt. After filling out the steps below, the reimbursement will be sent directly to your guest via email from Bill.com. Guests must be 18 years or older to be eligible for the reimbursement.

Join us for dinner at Mother Road Market, Tulsa’s first food hall! You’ll be able to connect with other visitors, Tulsa Remote staff, and Tulsa Remote members.

If you have not already, be sure to sign the Visit to Tulsa Release form. You must electronically sign this form in order to receive your travel reimbursement.

REIMBURSEMENT

  • We are excited you are coming and want to reimburse you for the cost of your transportation (airfare or driving) up to $500.
  • Tulsa Remote does not reimburse for airline points, lodging, Uber, Lyft, rental cars, baggage fees, upgrades, or any other expenses incurred during your time in Tulsa.
  • When you signed up for a Hosted Visit, you let us know if you were flying or driving and shared your starting address. We will reimburse for the cost of your transportation (airfare or driving mileage) up to $500. Mileage reimbursement is based on the IRS rate, currently $0.56/mile. If your plans change or your mailing address differs from your address at the time of application, please email Shelby Strange, our administrative coordinator, at membersupport@tulsaremote.com.

TO DO AFTER YOUR VISIT

RECEIVING YOUR REIMBURSEMENT

We will process your reimbursement within the $500 limit once you complete the three steps below. For your guest to be reimbursed, they must complete steps 1 and 2.

  1. Upload a screenshot or PDF of your flight receipt. Did you drive? Skip to step two.
  2. Upload your visit verification photo (take a photo of yourself at 36°N while you’re on the tour).
  3. Fill out our survey that you will receive in your follow-up email.

After you’ve completed these steps, you will receive an email from Bill.com asking you to sign up to receive your reimbursement. You will have the option to accept your payment and have it deposited via ACH. If you have questions about this process, please email Shelby Strange, our administrative coordinator, at membersupport@tulsaremote.com.
